What is Google Pixel Slate?
There is a new incredible device released by the Google in October 2018 named Google Pixel Slate. This is very powerful device which works as chrome OS and it is suitable to be your primary computer and is a very unique device that uses Chrome OS and allow to install Android apps. This acts as 2-in-1 device with just like a combination of iPad Pro of Apple and Surface Pro 6 of Microsoft providing a fantastic experience of both the worlds of tablet and laptop.

The device is not too heavy or not too light. It weigh about 1.6 pounds. But it is without the keyboard. This makes you very convenient for holding up the device and the edges are round, sides are curved and edge glasses are curved making it more comfortable to hold while large bezel allows comfortable one hand grip.
The slate is about 0.28 inches thick but is rigid and durable. Body of the slate composed of anodized aluminium coated with midnight blue and for sad no other colour options for the diversity seekers. The dimensions of the device are 202.04×290.90×7.00.
Pixel Slate Battery Performance
The slate consists of 48WHr battery. If you done with single charging you can use it for about 10 hours. I am sure that it will be a great pleasure for you. It is charging fast and if you want to use it for 2 hours you have to charge only for 15 minutes.
Screen and Camera
On the upper corners of the back of the device comprises the Google’s G logo on the left and the 8- megapixel rear camera on the right making it more clearly at the back. This also consists of 8- megapixel front camera. Screen size is 12.30 inches and of course this is with touchscreen of resolution power 2000×3000 pixels.

Pixel Slate Keyboard Review
In my first view I can introduce it as an attractive one, because the keys are not traditionally viewed square shaped keys but they are circular in appearance. This makes me very easy to distinguish between the keys as the circular shape creates more gap between the keys. If you are going to use your pixel for a fruitful effort then of course you want to buy the pixels slate keyboard though it additionally cost $199.
The keyboard is full sized and it makes easy to type at low light also as it is backlit with white colour. Most importantly the keys stay silent (Google identify them as Hush Keys) when typing and it is quite fast and efficient too. You can really enjoy typing in the keyboard once you used to it. It will provide a fantastic experience to you.
In addition, the keyboard provide multiple touch gestures and there is no need of thinking about charging the keyboard as it draws power from the slate. It can be connected to the slate very easily. Once the keyboard is connected to the copper connectors at the bottom of the slate at landscape orientation can be used as a laptop by adjusting the positions using the foldable back panel.
On the deck of the keyboard we can have a touchpad with smooth tracking and is ready for detailed movements too.
Pixel Slate Pen Review
This pen is no different than the last year pixel pen launched with the pixel book. The difference is only from the colour. It is midnight blue in colour making compatible with the slate colour. If you want to have a pixel pen you have to pay about $99. But in my view there is nothing missing if you don’t have a pen. It will be helpful if you are interested in handwriting. The pen is great for such options.
The pen comprises of single replaceable AAAA battery as of the last year pen. The sensitivity of the pen is considerable and it can be used as a laser-point, to grasp screenshots and also to scribble notes. This is very quick and easy to use. But for sad there is an issue related with this. That is there is no place to store the pen. It has to be store separately. So in this aspect there is a room for development of the device. Because its bit troublesome as it possess an attached keyboard also.
Ports
The slate has two USB- C ports on either sides that can be used to charge the slate, to transfer data and for 4K video output. The slate is lacking a headphone jack. But you don’t have to worry about it. Because the USB ports can be used to connect your headphones.
Speakers
You will be happy to know that this contains two speakers which are able to give you a high quality stereo experience. In addition two microphones are also embedded here providing opportunity of video calling.
Other than the above mentioned specs the power button of the slate is coated in white colour is a doubled button with a fingerprint sensor and a volume rocker.
